The forensic report, rebuilt

The AI Forensic Analysis report is rebuilt end to end. It plans coverage of your whole project before it writes a word, it shows its evidence inside each section instead of asserting a number and moving on, and it now takes one click to start. This is the release we pointed at in July.

One click to generate

You describe the matter once now, when you create the project: the case type, a few facts about it, and what sort of accounts you are handing over. The report reads that, so the AI Analysis tab opens on a Generate report card that already knows what it is looking at. Press it and it goes.

If you want a different shape for one run, Customize report opens a panel where you drag sections in and out and add instructions for what the whole report should weigh. Your case type has already picked a sensible starting set, so this is a choice you make when you want it, not a form you fill in every time. See how to generate a report.

Every figure traces to a page

The report reads like a filed expert report: a masthead with the period covered, the transactions reviewed, and the accounts reviewed, then key findings, an executive summary, and the numbered analysis sections.

• Evidence tables sit inside the argument. Each one carries the rows behind the claim and a headline saying what it is meant to show. Long exhibits cap to the most material rows, then link into the transaction ledger with the full set already filtered, so a capped table is never a dead end.

• Citations open the statement. A citation names the file and page, like chase-mar-2024.pdf · p.7. Click it and the PDF opens at that page.

• Charts are computed, not sketched. Money in against money out, spending trends, funds moving between accounts, all built from your real transactions.

Take out the whole thing, or one exhibit

Download report saves the report as a PDF or as an editable Word file. Any single chart also comes out as PNG, CSV, or Excel, and any table as CSV or Excel, which is usually faster when you need one exhibit for an expert rather than a whole document. See how to download the report.

Change a section without rebuilding

Ask Daystrom to rewrite a section, add one, or drop one. It drafts the change and shows it to you next to the current version, and nothing moves until you apply it. The rest of the report, including everything you have already read and checked, stays exactly as it was. See how to edit a section.

Watch it work

While the report generates you get the real state of play instead of a spinner: four phases (Reviewing case, Analyzing transactions, Writing sections, Finalizing) and a checklist that ticks off each section as it is written. Progress survives a reload, so you can close the tab and come back to it.
