Open any cycle beside its statement
The reconciliation workspace puts a cycle's rows next to the statement pages they came from. It now opens on any cycle you like, from wherever you happen to be looking, and the link you are on will take a colleague to the same place.
Read a cycle that already balanced
Every cycle has a way in. One that needs review opens with Review & fix. One that already ties out opens with View cycle, so you can read its rows against the statement pages and satisfy yourself the numbers are real before you build on them. A cycle that reports its balances as a whole rather than account by account shows those balances and its rows the same way.
Step through a project without closing the panel
The workspace has previous and next arrows that walk every cycle the Reconciliation tab lists, in the order it lists them. Go past the last cycle of one statement and you land on the first cycle of the statement below it, so you can work an entire project from inside the panel.
Start from the month you clicked
On the coverage grid, click a month and choose Review reconciliation. That opens the cycle behind that cell with the statement beside it, so an amber month takes you straight to the cycle that made it amber. Months with no cycle to show, and cards for a card that reconciles under its parent account, keep the option off.
Share the link
The open cycle lives in the address bar as ?cycle=, so a reload comes back to it and a link you paste into an email opens your colleague on the cycle you were looking at. Close the workspace and the cycle drops out of the link, so the address bar always says what is on screen.
