# When does my usage reset?

> Annual plans come with 12,000 credits that refill each yearly renewal, not monthly. A single project's 1,000 credits stay with the project and don't reset.

There is no monthly reset to track. CounselPro gives you a yearly balance of credits, and how it renews depends on whether you are on an annual plan or a single project.

## When do my annual credits refill?

If you are on Core, Plus, or Premier, your 12,000 credits arrive when you sign up and cover the whole year. They refill at your yearly renewal, not on a monthly cycle. You are free to run a heavy month and a light month back to back; nothing meters or throttles you in between.

## What about a single project's credits?

A single project comes with 1,000 credits that belong to that project. They do not reset, because a single project is one matter, not a recurring plan. If a project needs more than its 1,000 credits, you add a packet to it. See [what happens when I run out of credits](https://www.counselpro.ai/docs/run-out-of-credits).

If you were expecting a monthly page limit, there isn't one. CounselPro moved to a credit balance you draw from over the year, so the only number that matters is how many credits you have left. See [what are credits and how does CounselPro count usage](https://www.counselpro.ai/docs/what-are-credits).
