# How do I find duplicated pages in a statement PDF?

> The Repeated pages view in CounselPro flags page ranges that repeat earlier in the same PDF, so you can compare a copy to the original and delete the extras.

Scanned statements often carry the same page twice, when a page gets fed through a scanner twice or a PDF is assembled with an overlap. CounselPro flags those so a repeated page does not quietly double a client's numbers.

## Where do I see repeated pages?

On the [Insights tab](https://www.counselpro.ai/docs/generate-insights), under **Duplicates**, look for the **Repeated pages** section. It lists page ranges that repeat an earlier range in the same file, grouped by statement. Each repeat is labeled by how sure CounselPro is, from **Exact match** to **Likely match** to **Possible match**, with a similarity percent.

Repeated pages are always available, so you do not need to generate insights to see them. If a file has no repeats, the section does not appear.

## How do I clean them up?

Compare the flagged copy against the original, then delete the copies you do not need. CounselPro always keeps the original and only offers to delete the repeats, and there is a **Delete all** button when you want to clear every repeat in a file at once.

> **Note:** Deleting a repeated page is permanent. Compare it against the original first so you are sure it is a true copy, not a genuinely separate page that happens to look similar.

Repeated pages are about the PDF itself. For repeated line items in the ledger, which is a different check, see [how to find duplicate transactions](https://www.counselpro.ai/docs/find-duplicate-transactions).
