# Is there a limit on how much I can use Daystrom?

> Daystrom is unlimited today, so ask as many questions as your case needs. The only limit is per message, which can run up to 2,000 characters at a time.

No, there is no cap on how much you use Daystrom right now. Ask as many questions as a project needs, across as many sessions as you want. The only limit is how long a single message can be.

## How long can one message be?

Up to 2,000 characters. The composer shows a counter as you get close, and it will not send a message that runs over. If you have a long question, it usually works better to break it into a few focused ones anyway, since Daystrom keeps the thread and you can build on each answer.

> **Note:** Enter sends your message and Shift+Enter starts a new line, so you can write a multi-line question without sending it early.

## Does the chat cost extra per question?

Not today. Chat usage is unlimited, so there is no per-question charge and no allowance to run down. If that ever changes, the app will tell you before you hit any limit.
